What is a commercial manager and their background?
The Commercial Manager is required to ensure that all commercial aspects of the project under their scope are properly managed and controlled. A commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business and in collaboration with the other stakeholders. The Commercial Manager is a valuable member of the delivery team and the Project Managers (PM’s) right hand. Their role is to deliver confidence, consistency, transparency and clarity to the commercials areas of a project.
